

The new powers are decent now and generally just buff already established builds better. One really nice last minute buff to the crucible power for casting haunt on swarmed enemies opens up a crazy good bounty / low GR / speeds I've loved on the PTR seen here - which you just turbo spirit run everywhere while you melt the whole screen not actually attacking anything, but don't expect it to push high GR speeds. S27 has some nice, but not earth-shattering changes for the WD. And, again, you pretty much get the Boss Mode conquest for free. Cleared a 140 this season, where mobs have many hundreds of times more HP than the gr100 you're looking at and it's arguably not that difficult a build to play. And since Spite got buffed, allowing Restless Giant, it's decently strong.

Necro is buff next season, sure, but it feels like the WD's powers are ALL focused on ease-of-use. The defensive/curse belt is kind of obnoxious. Poison builds requiring you to carry and spam a multitude of poison to keep stacks up is annoying. Having to stun mobs to do damage is kinda' annoying (Krysbin). Especially for builds running the Scythe of the Cycle.

The worst part about most WD builds is having to keep Soul Harvest up, but Bone Armor is arguably even worse. Suit yourself, but if builds that play themselves at gr100+ are your criteria then necro isn't any better a choice.
